Michael S. Horton is Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Sola Media , home to Core Christianity, White Horse Inn, Modern Reformation, and Theo Global. He is the J. Gresham Machen Professor of Systematic Theology and Apologetics at Westminster Seminary California. Dr. Horton serves as a minister in the United Reformed Churches (URCNA). Dr. Horton is the author of more than 30 books, including Christless Christianity (Baker Books, 2008), The Christian Faith (Zondervan Academic, 2011), and Justification: Two Volume Set (New Studies in Dogmatics) (Zondervan Academic, 2018).

$ 45/person Guest speaker: Fred Sanders In this inaugural Theological Workshop Dr. Fred Sanders will offer a biblical account of the doctrine of the Holy Spirit, and in so doing help us to consider the ways this doctrine shapes pastoral ministry. In particular, Fred will provide a rich vision for trinitarian pneumatology that informs the ways pastors engage in key aspects of their vocation like preaching and soul care. This is a workshop specifically designed for pastors and ministry leaders in the church. |
Fred Sanders is a theologian who studies and teaches across the full range of Christian doctrines, but always with a special focus on the doctrine of the Trinity. Since 1999, Fred has taught in the Torrey Honors College, an undergraduate program in the great books, at Biola University.
